Alan Selzer is a seasoned professional with more than 40 years of experience in the plumbing industry and over 15 years as a valued member of the Alliance team. Throughout his career, Alan has built a strong reputation for his industry knowledge, leadership, and long-standing relationships with customers across the Houston market.

A native Houstonian, Alan is a third-generation member of a family rooted in the plumbing supply business. He began working part-time in the family company, C. Selzer & Sons, at a young age before joining full-time after college. In 1990, the company was acquired by Ferguson Enterprises, where Alan was named President of the Houston branches. During his leadership, the Houston market experienced significant growth, reaching estimated annual sales of $30 million.

In 1996, Alan transitioned into the manufacturer representative side of the business, where he continued to grow his expertise and develop strong relationships with builders, contractors, and distributors. His decades of experience across both wholesale and rep roles provide him with a well-rounded perspective that benefits both his customers and the manufacturers he represents.

Alan has been married to his wife, Laurie, for over 30 years, and together they have three grown children. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family. He is also active in his community and participates in various philanthropic efforts.
